How fast they grow!!!

So I haven't posted in quite some time... pretty much in over 2 months. Lexie is already 4 1/2 months old and weighing in at about 18lbs. She is getting so big and loves to laugh. Her Daddy and I love spending time with her... and showing her new things and letting her explore.

Rori loves her and is definitely her protector... to the baby that is. We also got Rori a new puppy... her little sister (and that she is.. they have the same mom)... Another golden retriever, who is still at this point nameless. But we love them all... One big happy "family circus" as i like to call us.

Alexandra

She has finally arrived.... March 28th, 2007. Weighing in at 8lbs 11oz and 20.5 inches long. She is awesome.... it sucks that mommie had to go back to work..but the 6 weeks we spent together were definitely fun and we traveled quite a bit during Lexie's first few weeks of life.... New Jersey 2x, Michigan once, Army reserve weekend, Outer Banks 2x.... hmm and lots of shopping trips..... I'm soo looking forward to watching her grow up I can't wait!!!!
So before i left for work this morning.... I of course had to say goodbye.... she just kept smiling at me cause i was the first person she saw when she woke up and she even giggled a little... I can't wait to go home tonight.....

Return to Reality

So I have just returned to reality from my trip to Central America.... El Salvador to be exact. I have to say i'm thankful that we don't live in a 3rd world country... and all of us who live in the United States should be quite thankful for all that we have. I was an interesting time down there..... and the Army made it particularly interesting even just the getting there part that took over 36 hours..... and even more to return back to North Carolina.

I spent time with some fabulous people and even made some new friends...... probably one of the best parts.....oh yeah except for flying in the Blackhawk helicopter.

Anyways, i'm back to work.... keeping busy and soon to start a new job.... as well as volunteering at an animal shelter,.......
